Role Definition:
This position will drive leadership through providing direct sales and marketing support to the wider Asia Pacific region for the Hydraulics CAT Resource Industries Product line. The role will lead long term strategy development with dealers to achieve the Hydraulic parts segment business plans and increased POPS (Percentage of Part Sales) for Asia Pacific parts products. Become the voice of the region to the product group and ensure Caterpillar and its dealers are equipped with the capability knowledge tools and direction to meet the business plan. Be the Subject Matter Expert in the marketing of Hydraulic Systems including Cylinders & Rods Pumps & Motors Hose and Coupling. Contribute to the achievement of the companys vision purpose and strategic plans by providing ongoing product support expertise.
Responsibilities:
Performs complex analysis work identifies and resolves problems that are more strategic in nature. Challenges include developing and meeting expectations in delivering results identifying and recommending alternative courses of actions and making timely decisions.
Working direct with others require you to demonstrate skills in negotiation building consensus and achieving compromise. Training marketing messages merchandising programs sales variance competitive analysis sales forecast. You will consult with the product groups districts and dealers in developing and implementing customer solutions designed to maximize product value and price.
Acting as a product and commercial support expert with key focus on the Hydraulic product family in the Resource Industries.
Product and application knowledge end-user critical requirements competitive analysis market needs recommendations cost analysis and improved business plans. You will be expected to have the customer view proactively address the market and customer needs identify linear and cyclical market trends evaluate competitive impacts.
Provide extensive product services to Caterpillar dealers product and channel groups other enterprise partners and customers as required. Represent on issues related to the products and commercial performance in territory.
Asia Pacific territory supporting Regional Hydraulic STUs. This position is the lead point of contact for Hydraulic solutions in the Asia Pacific region.

Additional Information:
This role covers the Asia Pacific Region and will require both Domestic and International travel.
Working environment Onsite 5 days a week (Cat Office / Dealers / customers)
