Acutronic is looking for a Test Engineer III who willperform a wide range of tasks including: product testing validation/qualification assembly supply chain inventory and quality management; as well as manufacturing and engineering tasks. The goal and purpose of the Test Engineers job duties will be to maintain robust operational systems to achieve manufacturing consistency drive continual improvement and reduce product defects and human error.

Test Engineer III

Your Roles/Responsibilities:

Develop and execute test procedures and functional testing for jet engine systems and subsystems
Select and integrate appropriate test equipment instrumentation and data acquisition systems to support required data collection for jet engine system and subsystem testing
Ensure instrumentation and test equipment remain calibrated in accordance with internal standards
Collect analyze and post-process test data in accordance with internal and customer requests
Generate test reports documentation and data packages
Develop test standards procedures standard work and safety protocols
Continuously improve test facilities data acquisition capabilities and test equipment
Develop relevant procedures and instructions to support QC methods changes or formalized decisions
Design and implement sampling procedures and related instructions for recording evaluating and reporting quality data
Lead and/or support negotiations with customers concerning quality demand fulfillment(s); and/or resolution of quality deficiencies including preparing external customer documentation

Your Profile/Qualifications/Skills:

Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Aerospace Engineering or a related fieldrequired
At least sevenyears of experience in testing of aerospace systems
Strong background in measurement of pressures temperatures fluid flow vibration etc; with experience in standard measurement techniques instrumentation options and data acquisition systems
Working knowledge of LabView or similar data acquisition systems
