Job Description
As a Security Officer Armed Driver Patrol Unit in Charlotte NC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients and staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a financial institution location.
- Respond to incidents alarms and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting activity and communicating with site contacts Allied Universal leadership and/or local law enforcement when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility parking areas and perimeter remaining prepared to work in an armed post while following all applicable post orders and weapon handling protocols.
- Monitor entrances restricted areas and/or high-value asset locations to help to deter unauthorized access suspicious activity and/or policy violations.
- Assist with access control visitor screening and/or employee escort activity as directed while maintaining awareness of security-related concerns common to banking and financial services locations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess 3 years of combined law enforcement military and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
