Hunter Savage is delighted to be partnering with a leading construction business as we hire a Site Engineer for our client based in Portadown. This Site Engineer role offers the opportunity to work on a range of high-value projects across the UK & Ireland playing a key role between design and on-site delivery.
The successful Site Engineer will act as the primary technical link on site ensuring works are delivered accurately safely and in line with project specifications. The Role
Act as the main technical adviser on site interpreting drawings and specifications
Carry out setting out levelling and surveying
Ensure works are delivered in line with contract drawings and standards
Conduct quality checks inspections and material testing
Manage subcontractors and coordinate daily site activities
Resolve technical issues and support project delivery
Maintain accurate records and reports
Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety and CDM regulations
The Person
Degree in Civil Engineering Structural Engineering or related discipline
3 years experience on construction projects (3M)
Proficient in AutoCAD and surveying equipment
Strong knowledge of construction methods regulations and H&S
Valid CSR/CSCS card (management level preferred)
Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel
Strong communication organisation and problem-solving skills
First Aid qualification desirable
