Job Summary
We currently have a vacancy for a System and Deployment Administrator fluent in English to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the companys premises or on site at customer the context of the first assignment the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major clients IT team on site.
Your tasks
- Manage deployments in Acceptance (ACC) and Production (PROD) environments;
- Work closely with Development QA and DevSecOps teams to ensure smooth deployments;
- Monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues;
- Manage server storage and network configurations;
- Maintain an incident log and prepare incident reports;
- Provide technical support and guidance to other team members;
- Participate in on-call rotations for after-hours support.
Requirements
- University degree in IT or relevant discipline combined with minimum 15 years of relevant working experience in IT;
- Minimum 3 years of experience with IT operations or a similar role;
- Excellent experience with deployment management;
- Excellent experience with scripting (i.e. Python Bash PowerShell);
- Excellent experience with cloud platforms (i.e AWS Azure GCP);
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools (i.e. Terraform Ansible Puppet);
- Knowledge of Atlassian Tools: JIRA Confluence Bitbucket;
- Knowledge of Version Control: Git GitHub GitLab;
- Knowledge of CI/CD: Jenkins GitLab CI Travis CI;
- Knowledge of Monitoring: Prometheus Grafana Dynatrace;
- At least one of the following certifications is required:
o AWS Certified SysOps Administrator or equivalent;
o Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator or equivalent;
- Excellent command of the English language.
