Internship Call - WMBC- Vacancy Notice
The Office of Workspace Management and Business Continuity (WMBC) enables the functioning of NATO HQ through providing services in a smart agile and anti-fragile manner with People Facilities and Technology in focus. It is responsible for providing a broad variety of day-to-day support services and continuity for NATO Headquarters its 32 member-Nation delegations partner delegations and the International Staff (IS) International Military Staff (IMS) and other occupants of the HQ facilities. Provide support to approximately 4500 civilian and military personnel.
WMBC offers internship opportunities in the following of its services:
1. The Workspace Transformation and Project Management (WTPM) section which leads end to end workspace transformation and related project management that shape NATO HQ for the future including the adaption of the NATO HQ site. Operating under a project-based model WTPM collaborates closely with other WMBC elements to ensure smooth delivery of infrastructure and workspace transformation outputs.
2. The Coordination and Support team serves as the cross-cutting coordination hub this team reports directly to the Head WMBC and ensures Health and Safety Stakeholder Engagements and Information management for WMBC as well as executive level coordination and support. In particular there is an opportunity for a financial management and procurement intern.

Essential:
The candidate must:
1. be a national of a NATO member state
2. be at least 21 years old
3. have at least two years of university level studies OR equivalent education OR be currently a student OR a recent graduate (degree obtained no longer than 12 months ago)
4. have proficiency in one of the two official NATO languages (English/French).
Desirable:
The following criteria will be considered an advantage:
1. have a Bachelors degree or in the final stage of a Masters degree relevant to the requested area of expertise
2. elementary knowledge of the second official NATO language (English/French)
3. be an advance user of IT tools including Microsoft Office SharePoint;
4. previous experience with other international organizations national administration research or industry.
