- Rotating Day/Night Schedule
- Wednesday: 3:00 PM 11:00 PM or 4:00 PM 12:00 AM
- Thursday Saturday: 8:30 PM 7:00 AM

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled and compassionate Travel Ultrasound Technologist (General) to join a dynamic healthcare this role you will perform diagnostic imaging procedures using high-frequency sound waves to support accurate diagnosis and patient care. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented patient-focused and committed to delivering high-quality imaging services.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations using appropriate equipment and techniques
- Prepare and position patients to obtain optimal imaging results
- Review patient history and clinical information prior to procedures
- Evaluate images for technical quality and diagnostic accuracy
- Communicate procedures clearly to patients and ensure comfort throughout the exam
- Maintain accurate documentation and properly label imaging results
- Assist physicians with specialized procedures including biopsies when required
- Ensure proper operation maintenance and care of ultrasound equipment
- Coordinate workflow to support timely and efficient patient care
- Adhere to infection control safety and departmental protocols
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
- Participate in continuing education and professional development
- Uphold patient confidentiality and provide excellent customer service
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program
- ARDMS certification required (Abdomen and OB/GYN)
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 12 years of recent ultrasound experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of ultrasound imaging techniques and equipment
