As a Security Officer Public Area Patrol in Falls Church VA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location where you will conduct routine patrols maintain a visible presence and help to deter security-related incidents. This role calls for strong customer service and communication while supporting patients visitors and staff. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients visitors staff and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents medical situations and/or critical events in a calm problem-solving manner escalating concerns and documenting activity according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings parking areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances exits and visitor access points verifying credentials and directing foot traffic in accordance with site procedures and healthcare location expectations.
• Support Allied Universal and site personnel by reporting hazards disturbances and/or maintenance-related issues while maintaining clear communication with supervisors and local responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
