Job Summary
Position Overview
BayCare Medical Group is seeking a General Neurohospitalist to provide coverage at St. Anthonys Hospital a 426-bed facility certified as a Primary Stroke Center by The Joint Commission with plans on becoming a comprehensive stroke center in 2027.
What you can expect:
- Provide inpatient neurology care including new consults follow-up visits and related patient calls.
- Join a growing team of 4 Neurohospitalists with the support of 2 APPs
- Enjoy a 7-on/7-off schedule that supports strong worklife balance.
- Practice exclusively at one hospital location.
- Work collaboratively with BayCare Medical Groups outpatient Neurology team of board-certified neurologists.
- Tele-stroke service coverage of stroke alerts
- Candidates should be comfortable managing a broad range of neurological conditions and interpreting EEGs.
Qualifications
- Board Certification/Board Eligibility by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
- Ability to obtain a Florida medical license.
