Job Summary


At Amby we dont just manage headcount; we build the engines that power Scandinavias most ambitious companies. We are now looking for a new consultant to join our HR-as-a-Service (HRaaS) team in Oslo who will be part of taking HRaaS from a service offering to a dedicated business area.

The role
In our HRaaS model you are not an external resource checking boxes; you are the engine under the hood. You will work closely with high-growth companies across different industries and sizes where you will develop and run their HR function backed by Ambys collective knowledge and tools.


Depending on your seniority your impact can involve:

  • Building the Foundation: Setting up and maintaining core HR infrastructure from employment contracts and handbooks to the implementation and management of HRIS systems.

  • Engineering the Employee Journey: Designing onboarding performance and growth rituals that prioritise meaningful experiences over paperwork.

  • Expert Advisory: Acting as a trusted advisor for managers and employees on everything from daily HR queries to complex personnel cases employment law and sickness absence follow-up.

  • Strategic Project Delivery: Leading initiatives like compensation reviews AI-driven engagement projects or HSE frameworks.

  • Data & Tech Pioneer: Using HR metrics and AI to spot trends and provide leadership with actionable insights.

More senior candidates will take full ownership of client relationships and lead the strategic HR vision for their clients.

Who Are We Looking For

  • You have 2-5 years of HR experience either as an HR Generalist or within HR Operations.
    Consulting background is a plus.

  • You have a proven track record of managing and improving HR life cycle processes.

  • You have a Bachelors or Masters in HR Psychology Law or Business.

  • You are tech-savvy with a genuine interest in how AI and digital tools make HR smarter.

  • Fluency in both Norwegian and English is a requirement.

Recruitment Process & General Information

  • The Process: We want to get to know the real you. Our process is designed to be transparent engaging and efficient.
    Our selection process involves an initial screening and logical reasoning test for those moving forward followed by a first interview. Candidates moving to the next stage will complete a personality assessment before a practical case interview where you can demonstrate your expertise and problem-solving skills.
