This prominent Plymouth practice has built a reputation for being more than just accountants to their clients; they are genuine business partners. They are now looking for a Senior Manager who can lead a sizeable portfolio and a talented team of professionals. This isnt a role for someone who wants to hide behind a spreadsheet its for a leader who enjoys the cut and thrust of advising local business owners and who wants a clear unobstructed path to Director level.
The Role
Manage a high-value portfolio of clients across the South West ranging from ambitious tech start-ups and established OMBS to large corporate groups.
Lead the delivery of statutory accounts management reporting and high-level business advisory services.
Act as a senior technical sounding board for the team overseeing complex financial reporting and ensuring all work meets the firms high quality standards.
Work closely with Partners on strategic projects.
Take a lead role in the recruitment mentoring and performance management of the Plymouth accounts team.
About You
ACA or ACCA qualified with substantial post-qualification experience within a practice environment.
Currently operating at Manager or Senior Manager level with a strong background in accounts and business advisory.
A commercially astute professional who understands the challenges facing business owners and can offer proactive solutions.
A natural leader with the interpersonal skills to manage client relationships at Board level and inspire a growing team.
Driven and ambitious with a genuine interest in contributing to the firms growth and their own professional development.
