Global HR Operations Manager

At Wilhelmsen we are looking for a Global HR Operations Manager to lead a central HR 1st line support team and explore opportunities to improve HR service delivery through centralization and improved use of technology.
In this role you support our global HR network and contribute to ensuring that key parts of our HR delivery run smoothly and consistently.
Your impact:
- Shape and develop centralized HR operations ensuring consistency and quality across all regions
- Identify and drive improvements through simplification standardization and smarter ways of working
- Act as global service and process owner across key HR operations areas (HR data & document Management; payroll time & absence)
- Lead and support the HR operations team in Poland and Malaysia building a strong service mindset and accountability
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement focused on practical solutions and day-to-day impact
- Work closely with Area HR Directors and global stakeholders to align processes and ways of working
- Strengthen the use of data in HR by leveraging KPIs reporting and insights to guide decisions
- Ensure high-quality consistent service delivery across all HR operations areas
- Improve service quality reduce risk and optimize cost across the global HR delivery model
What will help you succeed in this role:
- Experience in HR operations shared services or similar environments within a global or matrix organization
- Strong understanding of end-to-end HR service delivery including process centralization and the ability to run HR processes efficiently across multiple regions
- Experience in simplifying complex operational challenges and turning ideas into practical solutions
- Confidence to challenge the status quo and drive change in a structured and credible way
- Ability to bring people on board - clearly articulating direction and building trust
- Credibility with senior stakeholders and confidence operating in a global environment
- Experience with HR technologies (e.g. Workday ServiceNow) and optimizing their use
- Focus on quality consistency and continuous improvement with a strong execution mindset
