Job Title: Project Testing Coordinator - Hybrid

Job Description:
As a Project Testing Coordinator you will be responsible for the overall success of the project testing effort by coordinating scheduling and monitoring all testing activities. You will act as a quality advocate ensuring testing resources are effectively planned test processes are followed risks are identified early and testing outcomes support successful project delivery. This role requires close collaboration with project teams to promote testability quality standards and timely completion of testing milestones.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze project requirements to understand scope and testing needs.
- Estimate testing timelines and resource requirements and obtain management support.
- Coordinate with project managers and workstream leads to assign testing resources.
- Ensure all required test scenarios are identified and documented.
- Coordinate development review and completion of test scripts.
- Ensure test data is identified staged and prepared to support test execution.
- Verify testing steps are sequenced accurately within each test script.
- Ensure appropriate access to test environments and application security.
- Arrange facilities and equipment required for testing activities.
- Assign testing responsibilities and ensure team members understand their tasks.
- Maintain and manage all testing documentation and artifacts.
- Enforce organizational testing standards processes and procedures.
- Review test scripts and testing documentation for completeness and accuracy.
- Track testing results new requirements and changes in requirements.
- Escalate testing issues and risks that impact project scope or timelines.
- Organize testing status meetings and distribute status reports.
- Attend project meetings and communicate testing progress and issues.
- Track and report on testing activities including coverage defects resources and performance metrics.
- Review reports prepared by testing team members.
- Ensure timely completion of testing milestones.
Required Skills Experiences Education and Competencies:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple testing activities simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with stakeholders and teams.
- High attention to detail to ensure accuracy of testing materials and results.
- Strong problem solving skills to address testing challenges and risks.
- Familiarity with testing software test administration tools and data analysis platforms.
- Experience coordinating testing efforts within IT or application projects.
- Ability to advocate for quality and apply risk based testing approaches.
- Bachelors degree in a related field with at least one year of IT related experience or an associates degree with at least three years of IT related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
The hourly range for roles of this nature are $40.00 to $50.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills experience location and industry.
