Job Summary

Role: Business Analyst - Core Banking

Location: New Jersey (Onsite)

Type: Contract

Summary of role:

The successful candidate will be a valued member of the Core Banking Platform Design COE responsible for the oversight and design of appropriate and optimally thought-out technology solutions for the Core Banking Platform. They will play a lead role in eliciting business requirements while enabling best in class customer experiences aligned to Banks digital ambitions.

Responsibilities:

Engage with and influence key business & IT stakeholders in the definition of requirements and drive the design and implementation of appropriate technology solutions within our customer domain and associated business platforms.
Ensure that the technical solutions designed delivers on our business outcomes
Ensure that the solutions we design are customer centric and the design aligns with Banks Technology Strategy Enterprise Architecture principles and industry best practices.
Motivate a team of IT specialists providing technical guidance as appropriate on solutions that impact the customer domain and wider business platforms ensuring that consistent design patterns are applied to all changes.
Provide risk assessments of each design piece on the following metrics: Technical risk technical debt performance security scalability fit for purpose.
Monitor/Checkpoint all designed change through to deployment and operate.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Business Administration or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in technology solution design architecture and project management within the banking or financial services industry.
Minimum of 5 years of experience working with core banking systems and digital transformation initiatives.
Minimum of 2 years of experience applying enterprise architecture frameworks and principles.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in agile methodologies and tools.
