Job Title: Junior Systems Analyst (Web Applications)

Location: Columbia MD (Onsite)
Type: Full-Time

Role Overview

We are looking for a Junior Systems Analyst with a strong technical mindset to support the design analysis and implementation of modern web applications.

This role is ideal for candidates with early experience in web development system analysis or technical product support who can understand both business needs and system behavior.

You will work closely with product owners developers and QA teams to analyze system requirements define workflows and support API-driven and cloud-based applications.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze business requirements and translate them into system-level specifications and workflows
Work closely with developers to understand and document application architecture APIs and integrations
Create and maintain System Requirement Specifications (SRS) workflows and data flow diagrams
Assist in defining API contracts request/response structures and integration points
Support debugging issue analysis and root cause identification
Participate in Agile ceremonies (standups sprint planning reviews)
Collaborate with QA teams to ensure functional accuracy and system behavior validation
Help bridge communication between business stakeholders and technical teams

Required Qualifications

1 3 years of experience in Systems Analysis / Technical Business Analysis / Web Development
Basic understanding of:
- REST APIs and JSON
- Databases (SQL or NoSQL fundamentals)
Ability to read and understand technical flows logs and API responses
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Good to Have

Exposure to AWS (S3 Lambda EC2)
Familiarity in working with various AI Models (GPT Claude) or prompt-driven systems
Experience with tools like Postman Swagger
Basic debugging or development experience is an added advantage.
