Job Title: Senior ServiceNow Application Developer
Location: Charlotte NC (Onsite 5 days)
Job Type: 6 Months Contract
Job Description
We are seeking a Senior ServiceNow Application Developer who is responsible for designing developing configuring and supporting custom applications and platform enhancements on the ServiceNow platform. This role serves as a senior technical contributor working closely with architects platform owners and business stakeholders to deliver scalable secure and high quality ServiceNow solutions aligned with enterprise standards and best practices.
Job Duties / Responsibilities
Design develop and maintain custom ServiceNow applications using scoped applications and platform features
Configure and customize ServiceNow modules using Business Rules Script Includes Client Scripts UI Policies and Flow Designer
Develop server side and client side logic using JavaScript and ServiceNow APIs
Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Ensure solutions adhere to ServiceNow best practices for performance security and maintainability
Perform unit testing support integration and user acceptance testing (UAT) and resolve defects
Support platform upgrades patching and regression testing activities
Troubleshoot and resolve complex application and platform issues
Create and maintain technical documentation including design specifications and configuration details
Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews and technical design discussions
Qualifications / Requirements
5 years experience developing applications on the ServiceNow platform
Proficiency in JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting (Business Rules Script Includes APIs)
2 years experience developing scoped applications and using ServiceNow Studio
Solid understanding of ServiceNow data model security model and access controls
Experience working with ServiceNow modules such as ITSM ITOM CMDB HR or custom applications
Ability to analyze business requirements and design effective technical solutions
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non technical stakeholders
ServiceNow certifications (e.g. CSA CAD Integration related CIS)
Experience with Flow Designer IntegrationHub or REST/SOAP integrations
Experience working in Agile or DevOps delivery environments
