Job Description:
Regional Leads are specialized in specific IT areas and will perform designated tasks in alignment with agreed service objectives
The Supplier retains responsibility for managing its personnel and ensuring service delivery in accordance with defined standards. While collaboration with customer is essential for operational success the Supplier professionals will operate under the Suppliers supervision and will fulfill service requirements as outlined in this agreement.
Roles in this Job Family design solution deploy migrate manage and change infrastructure services End User Services across all related technologies. Including but not limited to servers storage mainframe networks AD SAP basis public clouds private clouds datacenter technologies containers middleware DBs Modern Device Management Intelligent Collaboration IT (HW&SW) Asset Management Services Field Services and Technical Service Desk.
Some of the IT areas where Regional leads may contribute depending on their skillset:
Oversee IT infrastructure: this includes hardware software and network systems.
Provide technical support: help employees troubleshoot issues and ensure systems are user-friendly.
Coordinate IT projects: from planning to execution manage timelines resources and budgets.
Ensure cybersecurity and compliance: aligned with Security team implement security measures and evaluate if systems meet regulatory standards.
Manage vendors: handle relationships with external service providers and negotiate contracts.
Train staff: often conduct training sessions to help employees adapt to new technologies.
Responsibility
Lead and manage the infrastructure services team ensuring efficient and effective day-to-day operations.
Contribute to the development and execution of infrastructure strategies and initiatives.
Ensure high availability and performance of infrastructure systems while troubleshooting issues.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand their infrastructure needs.
Identify and implement process improvements and best practices in infrastructure management.
Contribute to the development of infrastructure documentation including policies procedures and reports.
Assist in optimizing resource allocation for infrastructure projects and tasks.
Utilize technical knowledge to guide and support the infrastructure team in their work.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
Typically 12 years of relevant work experience in industry with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role
Proven experience in infrastructure technology management
Proficiencies in team leadership and project management
A continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology
Other Qualifications:
An advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus
Relevant certifications such as ITIL Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator or VMware Certified Professional are a plus
