POSITION SUMMARY

The Hospitality Finance Administrator is responsible for supporting the finance department with day-to-day accounting and administrative functions within a hospitality environment. This role ensures accurate financial record-keeping assists with financial reporting manages accounts payable and receivable processes and helps maintain compliance with company policies and financial regulations.

The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills attention to detail and experience working in finance within hotels restaurants resorts or hospitality groups.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Administration

  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
  • Process invoices expense claims and supplier payments.
  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
  • Reconcile bank statements petty cash and daily cash-ups.
  • Verify daily revenue reports from front office POS systems and outlets.
  • Support the reconciliation of room revenue restaurant sales and event income.
  • Assist with stock and inventory financial reporting where applicable.

Reporting & Compliance

  • Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and management accounts.
  • Maintain financial filing systems and audit documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with company financial procedures and policies.
  • Support internal and external audit processes.

Administrative Support

  • Coordinate financial documentation between departments.
  • Maintain supplier and vendor records.
  • Support the Finance Manager with ad hoc financial analysis and administrative tasks.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in a finance or accounting administration role.
  • Experience within hospitality hotel restaurant or tourism environments is highly advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of hospitality management systems and POS reporting.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
