Job Summary
Hire Resolves Client is currently looking for an experienced Resource Geology Manager to join their mining company based in Gauteng. You will be responsible for leading geology and resource management activities ensuring compliant exploration planning reporting and effective team and contractor performance.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage resource and geology functions including modelling annual life-of-mine planning and data validation.
- Oversee exploration programs drilling campaigns and greenfield/brownfield projects ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.
- Manage permitting government liaison and regulatory compliance for mining and exploration activities.
- Coordinate Capex projects contractor management and team performance for geology and resource operations.
- Support strategic planning reconciliations and M&A or new project evaluations.
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- BSc Honours Degree in Geology
- 15 years experience in Geology within an open-pit mining environment and field exploration services
- Extensive experience in Geological Modelling
- Registered with SACNASP
- Extensive experience with modelling software (Surpac and Leapfrog)
- Valid Drivers License
Benefits:
- Salary: R1.4 - R1.8 Mil P/A
