Summary Statement
Within this role you will be responsible for opening and closing the deli-style Canteen within the DE Hospital for the Chronically Ill. From food prep and taking orders to handling the cash register and completing money counts youll provide friendly and efficient service to both residents and staff. The food prep ranges from hot/cold breakfast and lunch items to snacks and beverages. This position also includes keeping inventory records restocking as needed and maintaining a clean and sanitary environment by disinfecting food prep areas washing dishes and routine cleaning tasks.

- Collects receives marks sorts stacks distributes and inventories supplies materials equipment parts or other articles.
- Locates and selects material supplies tools equipment parts or other articles from stockroom warehouse storage yard or other related areas.
- Adjusts repairs assembles or prepares products supplies equipment or other items according to specifications or customer requirements.
- Operates a variety of equipment for the purpose of preparing inspecting weighing evaluating recording marking or transporting supplies materials equipment or other articles.
- Records type quantity value or location of material supplies equipment or other articles received shipped used or issued.
- Cleans and maintains supplies tools equipment instruments and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations; ensures security of inventory.
Job Requirements
JOB REQUIREMENTS for Supply Storage and Distribution Clerk II
Applicants must have education training and/or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following areas:
- Knowledge of math such as addition subtraction multiplication division percentages or decimals.
- Knowledge of record keeping.

This position is a classification organized under an exclusive bargaining representative (labor organization) that has been elected by employees as their representative for collective bargaining and other applicableterms and conditions of employment in accordance with Title 29 Chapter 59 and Title 19 Chapter 13 and 16. This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement based on its individual terms.
