Job Summary:

Under the general direction of the Resource Management Director assists in the collaboration research development implementation revision and reporting of the resource management program. Working with all appropriate members of the health care team ensure coordination of patient care through the development and use of standards of patient care and nursing practices. Ensure that specific outcomes are achieved and that variances from the established and accepted parameters are evaluated and addressed as necessary. Will perform many high level patient care activities to include admission assessment screening for appropriateness standards assignments and monitoring development of plan to address physical and psychosocial needs and coordinate services for discharge planning and patient/family teaching.

Shifts/Hours
This is a part-time role and requires a total of 40 total hours per 2-week period.
In this role you will be asked to cover for PTO and call-outs for team members. You may arrive as early as 7am and but no later than 9am for your 8-hour shift.
This role requires flexibility and addition you will be required to work every other weekend.

Among additional requirements you will be required to work one major holiday such as Christmas Eve Christmas Day Memorial Day Labor Day Thanksgiving and New Years Day.

• BSN or MSN preferred but not required

• CCM or ACMRN preferred but not required

• 3 years of Registered Nurse acute care experience required

• Critical thinking skills essential
