The Production Fabric Cutteris responsible forpreparing cutting and organizing fabric and raw materials to support the sewing floor product development and contract manufacturing partners. This role ensures production bundles markers and patterns areaccurate complete and aligned to the production schedule whilemonitoringraw material inventory reducing waste and coordinating closely with Operations and Production leadership. The position supports efficient material flow by completing recutsmaintainingcontrolled pattern sets updating production schedules andassistingwith inventory counts equipment maintenance and general production support as business needs evolve.
This role is a non-exempt Full-Time Position basedat the YETIBozeman MTlocation.
Responsibilities:
Provide quality materials to the sewing floor and contract manufacturers. Help coordinate the flow of project bundles to thesewingfloor and contractor manufacturers. Must have the ability to be flexible and move to other tasks as production needs and priorities change.
Material Prep
Cut and distribute fabric pieces for PDC Product Development and contractormanufacturers as necessary.
Knowappropriate methodsto prepare various materials and pieces.
Organize bundles according to production schedule and input from ProductionSupervisor.
Communicate with Operations and Production team when inventory is getting low on an item ensure that priorities are covered more of the item is on order and inventory is not completely depleted if possible.
Reduce waste by using scrap when possible.
Conduct time tracking on all preptasksas necessary.
Stack cutting
Laser cutting
Bundling sample materials
Cleaning & training
Update Production Schedule when a bundle is completed fill in date whenfabricprep is complete.
Coordinatewith Production Supervisoron theshipping of prepped raw materials tocontract manufacturers as necessary.
Checkcut lists against sew samplesandproduction packagestodetermineproject needs.
Complete re-cut requests.
Markers and Patterns
Maintain controlledhardpattern sets.
Read and verify markers for accuracy.
Create digital markers for domestic contract manufacturers.
Print andarrangeshipment ofphysical markers to domestic contract manufacturers.
Raw Material Inventory
Appropriately label all incoming raw materials.
Monitor raw goods inventory and communicate with Operations if inventory is low or negative.
Assistin periodic inventory counts as needed.
Sewing
AssistProduction Floor withsewing whenall other duties areaccomplished.
Additional Responsibilities:
Keepworkarea clean and organized. Help clean surrounding areas.
Clean andmaintainmachinery fixtures tools and workspaces inFabricCuttingarea.
Assistwith foam and plastic cutting web cutting and hardware bundling as necessary.
Assistwithreceivingraw materials whenprimaryreceiving agent is absent and upon request.

Typically located in an indoor area with the possibility of mild discomfort from factors such as dust material particles temperature extremes loud noise and bright lights.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision whilecuttingor sewing constant looking down whilecutting or sewing color vision foridentifyingfabric depth perception and ability to adjust focus whencuttingorsewing.
Use handsfingersand arms while reaching for and handling all fabrics and materials.
Frequent periods are spent standing or sitting in the same location with some opportunity to move about.
Communicate talk and listen with coworkers.
Lifting or moving of objects up to 60 inches from floor level and weighing upto 50 lbs. without assistance.
Qualifications
Bachelorsdesiredbut High School Diploma or GED and equivalent experience accepted
Knowledge ofMYSTERY RANCHproducts and materials
Ability to be flexible and switch tasks as priorities change
Proficiencywith applicable tools suchas fabric saws
Extremeattention to detail required with the ability to follow instructions and check work for accuracy
Ability to use wide variety of power tools and knowledge of safety rules and regulations
Clear and concise writing skills
Train to use forklift and pallet jack
