Position: Travel Ultrasound Technologist (Contract)
Location: Canton GA 30115
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Friday Saturday Sunday 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM
Compensation:
- Weekly Gross Pay: $1800 $2050 (based on experience)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Travel Ultrasound Technologist to perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound procedures in a hospital setting. The ideal candidate will be adaptable detail-oriented and experienced in multiple ultrasound specialties ensuring high-quality imaging and patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a wide range of diagnostic ultrasound exams including abdominal OB/GYN vascular and small parts imaging
- Capture high-quality images for accurate physician interpretation
- Review patient history and physician orders to determine appropriate imaging protocols
- Operate and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment (e.g. GE Philips Siemens systems)
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and upload imaging to EMR/PACS systems
- Ensure compliance with facility protocols and national standards (ARDMS guidelines)
- Provide compassionate patient care and explain procedures clearly
- Maintain strict infection control and equipment disinfection standards
- Collaborate with radiologists physicians and healthcare teams
Required Qualifications:
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of ultrasound experience within specialty required
Certifications:
- ARDMS Certification required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) AHA required
Key Skills:
- Strong knowledge across multiple ultrasound modalities
- Ability to adapt quickly to new systems and workflows
- Strong technical and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and patient care abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy in imaging and documentation
