Join the Roper Corporation team as a Power Industrial Vehicle (PIV) Technician in a fastpaced highenergy production environment where you play a key role in supporting safe and efficient manufacturing operations. PIV Technicians are responsible for maintaining and repairing industrial vehicles and materialhandling equipment that keep our facility moving and our teams productive. How Youll Create Possibilities

Diagnostic & Repair Preventative Maintenance Inspections Records Customer Service

  • Proficient in identifying & repairing mechanical electrical fuel hydraulic and charging system problems on PIV equipment
  • Competence in performing routine preventive inspections such as oil changes filter changes fluid level check battery maintenance charging and lubrication of roller and pivot points
  • Competence in performing safety inspections and tests to ensure the PIV meets all safety requirements and operates properly before being released to operator/driver
  • Able to maintain accurate records and documentation of all maintenance and repairs performed
  • Able to effectively communicate with customers team members and leadership

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Technical training in automotive field a plus
  • Technical training in electrical & mechanical fields a plus
  • Two or more years experience in diagnostic maintenance and repair of PIVs

Technical skills

  • Competence in vehicle brake systems tire & wheel changes vehicle charging systems vehicle fuel systems vehicle operation
  • Willing to attend training for skill growth

Physical requirements

  • Able to perform heavy work requiring exerting force at high levels
  • Able to repeatedly stoop kneel bend climb on and climb beneath PIVs for diagnostics repair and maintenance

What Youll Bring to Our Team

Working Conditions

  • Normal work hours are Monday through Friday
  • Overtime may be required periodically
  • Some work will be performed in the hyster repair shop
  • Some work will be performed in the manufacturing facility
  • Some work will be done outdoors
  • All work will be performed requiring steel toes safety glasses and additional required PPE
