Job Summary
Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Analyst to join a growing this role you will play a pivotal part in advancing enterprise reporting analytics and business intelligence capabilities. Responsibilities
Reporting & Analytics Solutions
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards operational reports and executive-level analytics using modern BI tools.
- Build scalable reporting frameworks to support recurring and on-demand data analysis.
- Ensure reporting accuracy and consistency across multiple functional areas including finance operations and sales.
- Deliver scheduled and ad-hoc insights to help teams monitor performance and identify opportunities.
Data Exploration & Insight Generation
- Conduct in-depth analysis on large datasets to identify patterns trends and performance drivers.
- Apply analytical methods and statistical techniques to answer business questions.
- Translate complex data into actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Establish validation processes to improve reliability and trust in enterprise data assets.
Data Modeling & Query Development
- Develop complex queries views and stored procedures to support analytics workloads.
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to design efficient data models and improve reporting structures.
- Optimize performance through query tuning indexing strategies and enhanced data model architecture.
Automation & Efficiency Improvements
- Streamline recurring reporting tasks through automation and improved data workflows.
- Replace manual reporting processes with scalable business intelligence solutions.
- Implement monitoring and quality checks to ensure ongoing data accuracy and reliability.
Business Collaboration
- Partner with stakeholders to understand analytical needs and translate requirements into technical deliverables.
- Present analytical findings and recommendations in a clear actionable format.
- Participate in initiatives focused on improving analytics platforms and data infrastructure.
Leadership & Best Practices
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts on query development data modeling and reporting design.
- Promote consistent metric definitions documentation standards and reporting governance across teams.
- Support the development of internal documentation and shared knowledge resources related to analytics and data management.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Data Analytics or a related field.
- Several years of professional experience in data analysis reporting or business intelligence roles.
- Strong SQL development skills with experience building complex queries and optimizing performance.
- Hands-on experience with modern BI and visualization tools including dashboard development and report design.
- Experience working with dimensional data models and structured analytics environments.
- Familiarity with Python for data analysis (such as pandas or NumPy) is preferred.
- Exposure to cloud-based data platforms or modern data infrastructure environments is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate analytical findings into business insights.
