The units Total Joint Practice Specialists provide a
pre-operative Total Joint Education Program (both
in-person and online). Our diverse patient population
ranges from age 15 to 99 and consists of:
Elective total joint patients
Orthopedic trauma patients
Elective spinal surgical patients

Responsibilities
The Clinical Supervisor is a member of the unit-based leadership team. Provides supervision of the nursing operations of a the absence of the Manager or Director may assume 24-hour nursing responsibility. Works with a unit specific patient population.
Qualifications
REQUIRED:
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Three (3) years experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty OR
Bachelors degree or higher in Nursing with two (2) years of experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty.
- Current license in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or Nurse Compact (NLC/eNLC) or Multistate license
- Must hold Certified in American Heart Associations Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
- Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
PREFERRED:
- Additional Life Support credential (ACLS PALS NRP etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
