Technical Operations & Maintenance
- Supervise daily operations and ensure preventive and corrective maintenance is carried out on all hotel facilities: electrical systems HVAC plumbing elevators hot/cold water systems kitchen equipment etc.
- Ensure all systems are functioning efficiently and comply with safety standards.
- Respond promptly to emergency repair situations.
Staff Supervision
- Create and manage work schedules for engineering technicians.
- Train guide and support team members in technical procedures and safety protocols.
- Monitor and evaluate technician performance regularly.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain daily logbooks maintenance reports and technical checklists.
- Report all completed tasks pending issues and critical incidents to the Chief Engineer.
- Monitor and manage inventory of tools equipment and spare parts.
Safety & Compliance
- Enforce occupational health and safety (OHS) regulations in the engineering department.
- Conduct regular checks on fire safety systems generators and emergency power systems.
- Coordinate with other departments during breakdowns or technical issues.
Qualifications :
- Degree or Diploma in Engineering or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in facilities management with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems HVAC plumbing generators and kitchen equipment; ability to read technical drawings and schematics
- Excellent leadership problem-solving communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of local building codes safety regulations and energy conservation practices
- Strong organizational skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
