The Accountant is a team player who possesses a positive attitude and is self-motivated energetic detail-oriented organized analytical and resourceful. The Accountant needs to be comfortable working in a changing environment and be able to challenge and improve the status quo.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Contribute to month end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial data is in compliance with GAAP.
- Review monthly financial statements of multiple entities to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Prepare month end journal entries balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules.
- Research variances in key account balances and explain variances between actuals and budget.
- Assist with shared service accounting functions including general ledger accounting corporate accounting intercompany accounts payable accounts receivable payroll treasury etc.
- Learn and assist in training and implementation of our ERP system.
- Ensure compliance with established company policies and procedures and incorporate procedural improvements to optimize efficiency.
- Create ad-hoc financial reports and data analysis as required to support business objectives.
- Assist with annual financial and internal control audits.
- Provide on-going support to various business partners.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in finance or accounting with minimum of 1 year of applicable experience.
- CPA candidate highly preferred.
- Public accounting audit experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of fully integrated ERP systems.
- In-depth knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
- Strong PC skills with proficiency in MS Office especially Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
