Join Our Team as a Freelance Sound/Audio Engineer!
Are you passionate about sound and obsessed with getting every detail just right Were looking for talented enthusiastic Audio Engineers to bring projects to life in a fast-paced studio environment.
From TV series and films to e-learning and audiobooks youll play a key role in capturing high-quality audio across a variety of exciting productions.
This is a freelance role based on project availability with work conducted on-site at our studio in Airport City Cape Town during operational hours (8:00 am to 7:00 pm)
What were looking for:
A sharp ear and strong technical audio skills
Ability to thrive under pressure and tight deadlines
Proficiency in English and Afrikaans (additional languages are a big plus!)

What Youll Do
Step into a dynamic studio environment where your expertise will shape high-quality audio for global audiences. As an Audio Engineer you will:
Lead and record dubbing sessions ensuring seamless high-quality output
Direct and collaborate with voice artists to deliver authentic consistent performances
Maintain clean audio precise sync and broadcast-ready standards (R128)
Manage studio recording sessions end-to-end
Uphold quality efficiency and project workflows using internal systems
Audio post-production
Job requirements
Qualifications
Qualification in Sound Engineering (Diploma/Degree minimum)
Hands-on experience in post-production sound design and mixing
Proficiency in DAWs (especially Pro Tools) and Microsoft Office
Strong understanding of post-production workflows and broadcast standards
