Job Summary

FIELD DTP OPERATOR (RETAIL LAYOUT ARTIST)
Location: Bree Street CBD Cape Town (On-site)

CORE PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

Our client is seeking a strong Retail Layout Artist / Field DTP Operator to be based on-site at their offices in CBD Cape Town. The successful candidate will ensure that artwork is visually appealing aligned with brand specifications and print-ready according to technical and client briefing requirements.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

Ensure high accuracy in all artwork produced
Meet turnaround times for proofs and delivery to clients
Maintain and uphold the clients brand integrity at all times
Follow client and management instructions to exceed expectations
Analyse identify and communicate potential print issues to the technical team or repro supervisor
Deliver excellent customer service standards

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Relevant tertiary qualification in DTP
Minimum 23 years experience in DTP design/layout
Solid understanding of the printing industry
Strong retail leaflet layout experience (essential)
Proficient on Apple Mac platform
Working knowledge of DTP software packages
