Job Summary: We are currently seeking a Mine General Worker to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to support the operations of our mine including general labor maintenance and equipment operation. Key Responsibilities: - Perform general labor duties such as shoveling digging and carrying materials. - Assist with maintenance tasks including repairing and maintaining equipment. - Operate various equipment such as forklifts and loaders to move materials and supplies. - Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment. - Maintain a clean and organized work area. - Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors. - Adhere to company policies and procedures. Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent. - Previous experience in a mining or construction environment is preferred. - Ability to operate various equipment such as forklifts and loaders. - Strong communication and teamwork skills. - Physically fit and able to perform manual labor tasks. - Willingness to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment. - Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays. - Valid drivers license is preferred.
