The Role:
We are looking for a Legal Associate to support IDRs growing operations. The ideal candidate will have 24 years of experience in corporate and commercial law contracts and regulatory compliance ideally within the professional services market research or technology sectors.
You will work closely with IDRs global legal team to review draft and manage contracts ensure compliance with local and international laws (including data privacy and labor regulations) and help strengthen the companys legal frameworks across multiple jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities:

Contract Review and Management

Draft review and revise commercial agreements including NDAs vendor contracts client MSAs and independent contractor agreements.

Maintain a contracts tracker and ensure proper record keeping and version control.

Legal Research and Advisory Support

Conduct legal research on corporate labor tax and data privacy matters relevant to IDRs operations.

Provide preliminary legal opinions or memos to internal stakeholders under supervision of senior counsel.

Regulatory and Corporate Governance

Ensure the companys compliance with local employment and corporate laws (e.g. DOLE SEC BIR PEZA).

Prepare and maintain corporate records filings and compliance certificates.

Assist in board resolutions business registration renewals and liaison with government agencies as needed.

Cross-functional Collaboration

Work closely with HR Finance and Operations teams to ensure all activities are legally sound.

Provide training and awareness on legal and compliance topics to internal stakeholders.

Qualification and Skills:
Education: Bachelors degree in Law Business Risk Management or a related field. Must be a member of the Philippine Bar in good standing

Experience:

24 years of post-bar experience in corporate commercial or regulatory practice (law firm or in-house).

Experience in contracts data privacy or regulatory compliance preferred.

Knowledge & Skills:

Strong grasp of Philippine corporate and labor laws; exposure to international frameworks such as GDPR HIPAA or ISO 27001 is a plus.

Strong organizational and analytical abilities with attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
