Location: Philippines (Hybrid 3 days in-office / 2 days remote)
Office Location: Mabalacat City Pampanga 2010 Phillipines
Working Hours: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM PHT (with flexibility for occasional US-based meetings)
Salary Range: $1500 $2000 USD per month (Commensurate with experience)
Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned hands-on HR Manager to lead and scale our human resources operations in the Philippines. You will be joining at a pivotal time as we grow from a team of 30 to approximately 50 employees. This is a unicorn role for a professional who balances high-level leadership with the technical ability to manage day-to-day payroll and administrative functions.
The ideal candidate will be a cultural anchor for our local office managing the full employee lifecyclefrom sourcing and interviewing to onboarding and equipment distributionwhile maintaining seamless communication with our US-based leadership.
Critical Requirement
- ADP Mastery: You must have extensive professional experience using ADP (Payroll & HRIS). This is a non-negotiable requirement. We need a leader who can hit the ground running without a learning curve on our primary systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Talent Acquisition: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process to help the team scale from 30 to 50 members.
- Onboarding & Logistics: Lead in-person onboarding for new hires including the physical distribution of equipment and basic troubleshooting.
- Payroll & Benefits: Own the administration of payroll benefits and compliance through the ADP platform.
- Employee Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for the Philippines-based workforce fostering a strong company culture and resolving internal issues.
- Hybrid Management: Maintain a consistent presence in the office (3 days per week) to drive engagement and operational efficiency.
- Cross-Border Collaboration: Coordinate with US leadership showing flexibility for occasional early morning or late evening syncs (due to the 12-hour time difference).
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 5 years of HR experience ideally in a leadership or Department of One capacity within a growing workforce.
- Technical: Advanced proficiency in ADP HRIS and payroll systems is mandatory.
- Soft Skills: High emotional intelligence excellent communication skills (English) and the ability to work independently.
- Adaptability: Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and willing to handle both high-level strategy and granular administrative tasks.
- Location: Must be able to commute to the local office at least 3 days a week.
