Job Overview
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations and ensure accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records supporting budgeting processes ensuring compliance with financial regulations and assisting management with financial analysis to support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all transactions are properly recorded.
- Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial reports.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements.
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
- Support internal and external audit processes by providing required documentation.
- Maintain proper filing of financial documents and records.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
- Part qualification in a professional accounting body (CA ACCA or CIMA) will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 23 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Good analytical organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
