Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable Medical Assistant to support clinical operations in an outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will assist providers with patient care clinical procedures and administrative tasks preferably with experience in OB/GYN or family planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist providers with patient examinations and procedures
- Prepare patients for visits including vital signs and intake documentation
- Perform basic clinical tasks such as phlebotomy (if applicable)
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records
- Support clinic workflow and ensure smooth patient flow
- Provide patient education and support
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment
Key Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- BLS certification (required)
- Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience
- Strong communication and patient care skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Medical Assistant Certification
- Experience in OB/GYN or Family Planning settings
- Phlebotomy experience
