About the Role:
The Advanced System Administrator will support the Early Steps Data System (ESDS) by providing technical expertise in system administration configuration and operational support. This role involves maintaining system integrity enhancing performance and collaborating with vendors and stakeholders to ensure seamless functionality and continuous improvement of the platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line technical support to ESDS users
- Perform system administration tasks to maintain system integrity and user functionality
- Execute configuration customization and maintenance activities to improve system performance
- Coordinate with vendors for patch deployment upgrades and issue resolution
- Collaborate with third-party service providers for system integration and support
- Maintain project documentation including RAID logs and other tracking tools
- Participate in weekly monthly and stakeholder meetings
- Ensure compliance with data security confidentiality policies and regulatory standards
- Support ongoing system improvements and operational efficiency initiatives
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Business Administration or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum of 3 years experience in IT infrastructure and software development practices
- Experience in requirements gathering documentation and system implementation
- Strong background in data analysis and process improvement
- Experience working independently and within project teams on complex system implementations
- Knowledge of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) methodologies
- Experience supporting early intervention or similar IT systems is preferred
- Familiarity with access control patch management and compliance standards (e.g. HIPAA ISO)
