Position: Data Analyst
Type: Contract
Compensation: $65$90/hour
Location: Remote

Role Responsibilities

Collaborate with growth marketers program managers and the central analytics team to gather data and metrics requirements.
Design build and maintain automated reporting dashboards and ongoing analysis using Tableau to enable data-driven decisions.
Build and optimize ETL processes to run marketing campaigns at scale and automate campaign reporting.
Write high-quality SQL queries to retrieve and analyze data from database tables.
Partner with analytics and cross-functional stakeholders to identify and rectify data integrity and accuracy issues across reporting data infrastructure and dashboards.

Qualifications

Must-Have

BA or BS degree in a STEM field.
5 years of experience with SQL (Oracle Vertica Hive MySQL etc.).
Experience building and operating distributed systems for data extraction ingestion and processing of large data sets from multiple sources.
Experience in ETL design implementation and maintenance.
Experience with Business Intelligence tools (such as Tableau MicroStrategy) and report automation.
Experience using Python and R.
Self-starter with flexibility to work in a fast-changing environment and ambiguous situations.
Experience working in organizations with cross-functional teams.
Experience working independently with a track record of taking initiative.
Strong interpersonal skills including written and oral communication.

Preferred

Proven record of building large-scale data pipelines capable of handling millions of rows.
Ability to guide teams on best practices for building pipelines.
Demonstrated leadership and ability to work independently.
Experience managing projects and setting expectations.
Background in large tech companies or similar environments with big data scale.
