Job Description
SS&C is seeking a Lead Java software developer who is a talented problem solver passionate about technology and working for a company that thrives on solving business needs with people and technology. Leadership Skills
Experienced with leading a team of developers
Able to breakdown work into smaller technical components
Ability to act as a single point of contact for providing timely resource and project updates
Solid negotiation and conflict resolution skills
Able to mentor and coach developers of all levels of experience
Educate developers monitor and ensure compliance with software development standards processes and best practices
Technical Skills
11 yrs of Experience with Java programming language and frameworks like spring Redhat Kafka Dockers and containers
Strong SQL knowledge
Exposure to 1 or more frontend frameworks (Angular React Vue)
Experience with source code management systems (e.g. Git SVN)
Thorough knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle methodologies
Adheres to software development standards processes and best practices
Demonstrated Capabilities
Good verbal and written communication (English)
Takes accountability and ownership of deliverables
Effective problem solving
Ability to foster an environment that encourages team work and collaboration
Passion for continuous learning
Focused on providing high quality deliverables
