Job Summary
Responsibilities
- Assist with leading a team of horticultural maintenance staff ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
- Perform regular horticultural maintenance including mowing edging pruning weeding mulching and fertilising
- Maintain ornamental gardens hedges lawns and feature planting areas to premium presentation standard
- Operate and maintain horticultural tools machinery and irrigation systems safely and effectively
- Assist in seasonal planting turf renovation and landscape improvement projects
- Identify and treat plant pests diseases and nutrient deficiencies
- Work collaboratively with grounds and facilities staff to support school events and operational needs

About You
- You have a Certificate III in Horticulture or Parks & Gardens
- Excellent working knowledge of all of the tools and equipment used in the field such as hedgers whipper snippers blowers hand tools and some petrol operated equipment.
- You have a drivers licence National Police Check and Working with Childrens Check (or willingness to apply).
