Were on the lookout for a skilled and proactive Cyber Security Analyst (Operations) to join our Cyber team in Digital & Technology.

In this fulltime permanent role youll play a critical part in protecting our organisation by operating engineering and continuously improving cyber security controls across onpremise and cloud environments.

Working closely with technology teams and cyber specialists youll help detect respond to and reduce cyber risks in a complex healthcare and community services environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate monitor and optimise core cyber security platforms including endpoint protection SIEM identity and access management email security vulnerability management and data protection.

  • Monitor and analyse security events to identify threats vulnerabilities and anomalous activity.

  • Lead and contribute to the technical response to security incidents including investigation containment remediation and postincident review.

  • Validate the effectiveness of cyber security controls and implement practical riskbased improvements.

  • Perform handson security engineering activities such as configuration changes control uplift integrations and tooling improvements.

  • Collaborate with IT teams vendors and service providers to resolve security issues and improve control effectiveness.

  • Communicate operational security risks clearly and escalate material risks as required.

What you will bring:

  • Demonstrated experience in cyber security operations engineering or incident response roles.

  • Strong understanding of cyber security principles and technologies including endpoint protection SIEM IAM vulnerability management and cloud security.

  • Experience implementing configuring and improving security controls in enterprise environments.

  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to work through complex technical challenges.

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical issues for nontechnical stakeholders.

  • A practical outcomesfocused mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.
