What does a day in the life of a System Analyst look like
The System Analyst of the fulfillment systems team
As a System Analyst you will serve as a guide to other system analysts on the team. Day-to-day activities include working with associates to diagnose program issues resolve user issues plan development testing work with vendors report progress to the manager and work with other teams within IS.
As our new System Analyst you will report to the Director of Fulfillment Systems and work directly with corporate information services (IS) to complete or lead tactical and strategic initiatives. You get to support application upgrades and business go-lives at your location with the assistance of the SME teams.
Primary Responsibilities
Provides specialized WMS support to users and customers
Utilizes the following systems: Softeon WMS/WES/CRM
Defines application problems by conferring with business evaluating procedures and processes
Develops solutions by preparing documentation and evaluating alternative solutions to gain approval across business
Controls solutions by establishing specifications and coordinating production with programmers
Validates results by testing programs
Supports the business by training and providing support to drive best practices
Accomplishes information systems and organization mission by completing related results as needed
Provide status updates to team members and stakeholders

Must Haves
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience is required. Advanced degrees(s) are a plus
At least 3 years of experience working within Information Services or equivalent systems experience
At least 2 years of experience working with Softeon WMS or similar Tier-1 system including training experience
Experience working with other Fulfillment systems such as OMS WES and WCS preferred
Be familiar with the implementation of Fulfillment Automation technologies such as AMRs lighted picking/putting smart carts voice picking and other technologies
Experience with process improvement and implementation of Best Practice solutions utilizing Lean methodologies. Green or Black belt certification preferred
Have working knowledge of process management and project management life cycle
Recognize problems and implement systems-based solutions
Strong critical thinking decision-making and problem-solving skills
Have the ability to learn understand and apply new technologies and development processes
Perform as an effective contributor in a team-oriented environment and accomplish desired results with a high degree of quality
Be customer focused and possess a high degree of integrity and trust
Be able to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Be willing to travel for business up to 25% of the time
