Job Summary
SUMMARYMaintains the physical facility grounds and all equipment in good working repair to ensure a safe attractive and enjoyable living environment for the individuals receiving JOB FUNCTIONSTo perform this job successfully an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential function listed ongoing preventative maintenance and maintains kitchen housekeeping and other mechanical equipment including heating and air conditioning units electrical and plumbing fixtures and laundry and repairs all damages to hallways walls ceilings floors roofs and and refinishes building and maintains necessary maintenance necessary maintenance of all tools and fire alarm system including smoke and heat detectors fire pulls and fire extinguishers. Maintains sprinkler systems and assists with quarterly inspections. Assists in disaster plans as appliance motors room exhaust fans/hood suppression systems pumps and miscellaneous equipment on a monthly basis or as recommended by the and assists in basic maintenance of facility operational records data and monitors and enforces observance of safety other related duties and activities as RESPONSIBILITIESNone Knowledge and Skills required by the JobEducation and Experience:High School diploma or equivalent and one year related knowledge and ability to handle all maintenance and electrical as neededPhysical Requirements:Medium Work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move WITH DISABILITIES ACT STATEMENTExternal and internal applicants as well as position incumbents who become disabled must be able to perform the essential job functions either unaided or with assistance of a reasonable accommodation to be determined on a case by case basis via the interactive process.
