Job Summary

RESPONSIBILITIES
Handle all Turbine Test Ring preparation scheduling and distribution to THI/Vendors
Handle all Energy Test Ring preparation scheduling and distribution to THI/Vendors
Assist in shipping turbine testing to outside laboratories
Assist in receiving turbine specimens back from outside laboratories
Assist in turbine and energy data entry

CHALLENGES

Thorough understanding of how product is processed through our machine shop
Good knowledge of fixturing product during machining
Understanding Energy Testing
Understanding of the receiving function
Basic knowledge of shipping/receiving
Maintain a high level of quality for product review
Manage daily activities to stay on schedule for product shipment
Good working relations with internal and external customers

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma

SPECIAL SKILLS

Computer literate
Communication skills and ability to interface well with shop floor personnel
Competence in information technology and Wyman Gordon data systems
Ability to work under pressure in a production environment
