PositionSummary:
ThepositionoftheVendorManagerisresponsibleforprovidingsupporttotheVendorManagementdepartmentthroughdailyassistancewithlinguistrecruitmentandtestingdatabasemaintenanceanddailysupporttosalesandproductionteamswithvendor relatedissuesandquestions.

Proactivelyrecruitnewresourcestoexpandthecompanysdatabaseofexternallinguists
Testrecruitedlinguistsaccordingtospecializedskillsetsandthecompanystestingprocess
Negotiatepreferredrateswithrecruitedlinguistsaccordingtocompanydepartmentorprojectneeds
Promotenewlyrecruitedandtestedlinguiststotheappropriateproductionteams
Assistproductionandsalesteamsonadailybasiswithvendor-relatedissuesandquestions
EstablishandmaintainexcellentrelationshipswithcontracttranslatorsproofreadersproductionstaffandinternalQualityManagersglobally
Strategizewithdirectmanagertofindaviablemeansofmakingprocessesmoreefficient
Attendtradeshowsandconferencesasneeded
ProactivelyseekadditionaltasksanddutiestobenefitTransPerfectTranslationsasawhole
ResearchandunderstandallindustriesthatTransPerfectTranslationsmarketstoincludingindustryleaderscurrenteventsandanyotherpertinentdata
Beknowledgeableinthetranslationindustryincludingleaderscompetitivedataproposalformatscompetitiveratesandmarketingstrategies
Essentialskillsandexperiencerequired:
