Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Communications Specialist to join our Communications team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional with 3-5 years of experience who is eager to deepen their expertise in the communications field. The role provides essential administrative support to the team and the Head of Communications while contributing to editorial projects event coordination and media monitoring.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Editorial & Content Support

    • Assist in drafting reviewing and editing press releases internal communications social media posts and advertorials.

    • Support content development for fact sheets presentations and reports.

    • Conduct research to support thought leadership initiatives.

    • Manage internal communication channels for content distribution including intranet emails and other screens.

    • Coordinate with the Legal & Compliance (L&C) team to ensure external-facing materials meet regulatory requirements.

  • Event Coordination

    • Provide logistical support for internal and external events including venue booking and vendor liaison.

    • Assist in preparing event materials and managing on-site coordination.

  • Media Monitoring & Reporting

    • Monitor media coverage and industry developments and help produce daily news digests to keep the team informed.

    • Review and validate share-of-voice and coverage reports prepared by external vendors ensuring accuracy and clarity.

    • Track PR performance metrics and contribute to periodic reporting.

  • Administrative Support

    • Coordinate schedules meetings expense and travel arrangements for the Head of Communications.

    • Manage vendor invoicing and procurement processes for the department.

    • Maintain team documentation databases and filing systems.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Communications Public Relations Marketing or a related field.

  • Around 3-5 years of experience in communications public relations or similar roles.

  • Strong writing and editorial skills with exceptional attention to detail.

  • Familiarity with event planning and coordination.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; strong skills in PowerPoint and AI tools is preferred.

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Cantonese/Mandarin.

  • Highly organized proactive efficient and eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
