About the Role

As a Lunchtime Teaching Assistant youll support children during lunchtime routines helping to create a positive calm and enjoyable experience.

You will:

  • Support childrenduringmealtimes encouraging independence and good eating habits
  • Help createa calm and nurturing environment during lunch and transition times
  • Assistwith supervising children indoors and outdoors
  • Support childrens wellbeingcomfortand emotional needs
  • Work closely withthe team tomaintainroutines
  • Maintain high standards of safeguarding health safety and hygiene

Whatwerelooking for

Youdontneedpreviousnursery experience wellprovide the training you to be caring reliable and enjoy working with children and as part of a team.

You will:

  • Have a genuine interest in working with children
  • Be friendlypatientand supportive
  • Enjoy working as part of a team
  • Reliable and motivated to learn new skills
  • Ideally some experience working with children (formal or informal)
  • Basic understanding of child development or early years (desirable)
