Job Description
As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Specialist in San Francisco CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
- Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner while documenting observations and actions taken.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings platforms parking areas transit-related spaces and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and public areas verify credentials when required and report unusual activity hazards and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Support employees visitors and members of the public by giving directions answering questions and relaying security-related information in a professional manner.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess 1 or more years of security-related experience.
- Possess an armed guard card or license.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
