The Role
As an Electrical Engineer Level II with Worley you will provide electrical engineering services to Worley and its Customers and may provide technical support within the electrical team.
- Deliver electrical engineering services that meet Worley its customers and applicable statutory and regulatory specifications on time and within budget.
- Perform electrical engineering services such as:
Performing Single Line Diagram Metering & Protection Diagrams Design Basis Specifications Data sheets Electrical Load List Sizing Calculation of all Electrical Equipment Lighting Calculation using Vendor softwares Procurement Support by developing Inquiry Requisition data sheets Technical bid evaluation Vendor drawing reviews Substation Design Power Lighting Cable routing and Earthing layouts Cable Schedules and all bulk MTOs. - Competent use of electrical engineering ETAP/SPEL Software is preferable. Power System studies on Load flow Short circuit Motor starting Harmonic Analysis Arc flash in ETAP is preferable.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest developments and technical innovations in electrical engineering.
About You
To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:
- Min 8 years of experience in Oil and Gas Refinery LNG Petrochemical Industry with reputed Consultant EPC/EPCM Company is essential.
- Experience in generating Key Single Line Diagram and Detailed Single Line Diagrams Metering & Protection Diagrams Design Basis Specifications Data sheets Electrical Load List Sizing Calculation of all Electrical Equipment.
- Experience in Electrical calculations viz. equipment sizing cable sizing lighting calculations.
- Hands-on experience of Power System Studies using ETAP / SKM and experience in SPEL are preferable.
- Effective technical and practical engineering skills and ability to consistently deliver quality accurate and timely work to Worley and its customers.
- A good working knowledge of the fundamental requirements of electrical engineering and the basic requirements of other engineering fields.
- Hands-on experience in handling layout engineering such as Power cable tray routing Earthing lighting layouts Substation Equipment Layouts etc.
- Hands-on experience in Electrical equipment selection for the Hazardous area and preparation of Hazardous area layouts.
- Procurement Support by developing Material Requisitions (MR) Technical Query (TQ) Technical Bid-Evaluation (TBE) Vendor document & drawing reviews (VDRN) etc.
- Experience in design of special packages such as Electrical Heat tracing design Lightning Protection System Design and develop layouts.
- Must have working experience with IEC NEC ANSI/IEEE ANZ Electrical standards as minimum.
- Must have working experience with leading Clients such as ADNOC NOC Qatar Energy Qatargas Saudi Aramco SHELL Chevron etc.
- Able to check engineering and design deliverables independently and prepare work-hour estimate.
- Guide review for the development of 3D modelling activities (30%60% & 90% design).
- Check compliance with Quality Assurance Safety and Environment goals.
- Quality Assurance Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system relevant to the Project.
- Safety Responsible for personal safety and safe working practices for the Project.
- Understand and follow OH&S procedures and guidelines.
- Liaison with other engineering disciplines on technical issues and provide solutions.
- Minimum 8-12 years of experience in Oil & Gas Refinery LNG Petrochemical Industry projects.
- A recognized Master/Bachelors Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) / Electrical Engineering / Power System Engineering from reputed Universities or equivalent Institutions.
