Job Summary
Job Summary for Storeroom Attendant
- Serve as an individual contributor at customer location to manage daily receiving stocking issuing and cycle counting of inventory.
- Maintain a professional clean and organized work environment.
- Work 3rd shift (10pm-6:20am); initial training on 1st shift (7am-3:20pm Mon-Fri 3-4 weeks).
- Temp-to-hire position.
- Must have a current valid drivers license.
- Physically demanding role: walk up to 4.5 miles daily climb stairs 18-20 times per shift and lift up to 40 lbs.
- Operate battery-operated cart for deliveries and material movement between buildings.
- Perform receiving disbursing auditing and other site-specific warehouse duties.
- Use computer for inventory and tracking; familiarity with computer required.
- Provide good customer service and demonstrate teamwork positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- May use ladder to stock shelves (up to 8 feet with safety features).
- Steel toe shoes required (with internal metatarsals once hired full-time).
- Previous warehouse and forklift experience a plus but not required (forklift certification provided if needed).
- Warehouse is heated in winter no air conditioning in summer.
- Must comply with all safety procedures and site requirements (badge eligibility at Caterpillar required via background check).
