Job Summary
- Room Status Management: Constantly Check and update room status (E.G. Dirty clean inspected) in the computer system.
- Dispatch & Coordination: Operate multi-line phones and two-way radios to dispatch housekeeping staff and assign rooms to Guest Room Attendants.
- Guest Request handling: Receive log and follow up on guest requests (e.g. extra towels cribs) to ensure completion.
- Reporting & Logistics: Run housekeeping reports prepare room assignment sheets and handle lost and found items.
- Communication: Liaison between housekeeping front desk and engineering departments.
Qualifications :
- Must be able to tolerate warm temperatures and stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to push pull and lift up to 20 pounds on a regular basis.
- Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Proficiency in Property Management Systems (PMS): Experience with software like Opera is frequently required.
- Communications & Organization: Excellent phone etiquette multitasking abilities and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical Skills: Ability to operate radios computers and gaging systems.
